Sometimes, i wonder why things are the way they are.

Artist block, shoot me now.

My living room is a hot mess.

Today, after work, i went thrift store shopping. I wanted to buy the whole store but im not rich lol. I found this cutie and had to get it. I thought i could make it into a necklace holder. Of course the red was beautiful but I wanted to make it special by having me paint it.

I had to first take the pieces off and then sand it, to get rid of the markings and dents.

After that i covered the entire thing with violet then worked my way into black and then lavender and added some drops of metallic gold and of course my new favorite tool, acrylic ink. Im adding gold hooks on the bottom, so i have the option of holding more necklaces or jewelry.

Im satisfied with this, because not only does it look cool and at different angles you could see different colors, but the fact that you could turn anything small into something big.
